About MeHi, I’m Royce Bottoms — a veteran, retired firefighter, and devoted servant of Christ with over 25 years in ministry. I’m the founder of Beyond the 12 and host of the Jesus & a Cup of Joe Podcast — a Christian conservative platform where faith meets real-life conversations. My mission is simple: to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, support our veterans, and encourage believers to walk boldly in faith.Through this ministry, I challenge others to step beyond their comfort zones — to reach the forgotten, the broken, and the lost. My journey has included seasons of deep struggle, yet in every trial, God’s grace has proven greater than the weight I carried.I believe in the power of testimony, the strength of community, and the unshakable hope we find in Jesus. Whether it’s through a podcast episode, a devotional message, or a quiet moment of prayer, my goal is to meet people right where they are — and remind them: you are not alone.Let’s walk this journey of faith together — grounded in truth, fueled by purpose, and always centered on Christ.

✝️ Statement of Faith

1. The Bible
We believe the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, without error, and the final authority for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
2. God
We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in power and glory. (Matthew 28:19)
3. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return in glory. (John 1:14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
4. Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — not by works. All who repent and believe in Jesus are forgiven, made new, and given eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16)
5. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, empowering us to live holy lives, equipping us with spiritual gifts, and guiding us in truth. (John 14:26; Galatians 5:22–23)
6. The Church
We believe the universal Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers everywhere. We are called to gather, worship, serve, and share the Gospel with the world. (Hebrews 10:24–25; Matthew 28:19–20)
7. The Great Commission
We believe every follower of Jesus is called to live out and share the Gospel, making disciples of all nations. (Mark 16:15)
